Design House

C.E.S.A.R’s Design House has specific tools to perform Integrated Circuits (IC) design services, including all developmental stages:

1. Conception: Includes an analysis of the problem and capture of client’s requirements. At the end of this step, if it is found that the solution to the problem includes a chip design, a document is prepared with the IC specifications;
2. Defining the architecture: Based on the IC required specifications, the Design House will design the architecture of chip blocks partitioning functions according to their characteristics;
3. Implementation: Using the architecture document and the detailed IC blocks, implementation begins at varying levels of abstraction up to target fabrication process technology;
4. Prototyping: Partner plants produce the IC a prototype for testing and validation;
5. Characterization and testing: Once produced, prototypes undergo an electromagnetic properties characterization process as well as a series of tests;
6. Field testing: The Design House and the client test the IC prototype in the field.
